Checking when google last visited your site, checking your meta tags, free submission. Not once I have received an email or any spam from these guys, and all their tools are freakn awesome.

Before I place a featured listing, I always use this to check their site see what it is like, especially the SEO Stats and the Googlebot last access.

This site will show you your alexa rank, DOMZ and yahoo directory yes/no, age of your domain name, google PR, Backlinks, Indexed Pages and your Website Value. And it all links out, so if you see you have 10 backlinks in yahoo directory, you can click and it does the yahoo back link search for you to see.

this is an amazing sitemap generator, I dont like automated site maps, but this one was the best I have ever seen, but I still dont like them. But if you are a dopey tool that cant program in xml (like me, use this, then edit to suit.) this is better than no sitemap.

Only tool that I have found that replicates your site as a bot sees it, so you can check your links and alt tags etc, make sure they are all top notch.

site isnt free, costs you a few bob each month through paypal on a subscription to get an account, but can automatically list you in quite a few search engines, and also can resubmit you automatically.

Has quite a few free tools that you can use for analysing your website aswell.
