Hello guys i am little bit of confuse here.I would like to know your opinion that what is the difference between .net and vb.net.I know that vb.net is a programming language but whats about .net .
Is .net a language or a platform to develop windows and desktop application with different programming languages. |

The most common languages that developers will choose, will likely be VB.NET or C#. .NET articles and code examples that exist on the Web, it seems that while a slim majority of them are shown VB.NET, a good number are written in C#.

Well i am using VB.NET for development but in true sense .since it more faster and if you are familer with c and c++ you will delight it.

yeah mani that's rite, i have just started a Project of School management system in C#...i think its rather better than Vb.net coz there's always least chances to have errors as v use to depend on exception handling in Vb...Runtime errors extreamly irritates me and even C# is more efficient and effective...
